Between looking after my lovely clients and having a million and one things to organise for the new salon, social media has definitely taken a back seat.

It’s all getting very exciting now!

FROM A NAIL DESK AND A DREAM… TO THIS! 🤍

Well, I honestly don’t even know where to start with this one! 🥹

I’ve been sitting on some VERY exciting news, and if you’d told me a few weeks ago that I’d be writing this announcement, I’d probably have laughed at you! 😂

But here we are…

NAIL KREATIONS BY JAMIE LEE IS EXPANDING!!

AND YES… I’M TAKING ON MY VERY OWN SALON!! 🤍

What makes this even more special is that this isn’t just any salon. There’s a whole story behind it.

I’ve been in the beauty industry for almost 19 years (19 years on the 12th November to be exact!), but 5 years ago I took the leap and became self-employed.

What started as just me, a nail desk and a dream has grown into something I never imagined it would.

For those who don’t know, I’ve been a client of the lovely Jess for the last 5 years. I’ve sat in her gorgeous salon having my nails done, admiring everything about it and thinking to myself, one day I’d absolutely love to have a salon like this.

Never in a million years did I imagine I’d actually be taking over that very salon!!

Jess, I don’t think you realise just how much you’ve inspired me over the years. You’ll always hold a special place in my heart, and I promise your beautiful salon is going to be in good hands. 🤍

But there’s another reason this location means so much to me…

From the age of 8, I spent so much of my childhood in this area, staying with my dad who lived just at the top of the road. When I was 14, I moved in with him and this became home.

A place that holds so many childhood memories is now going to be part of my future. 🤍

✨ NAIL KREATIONS BY JAMIE LEE IS GROWING ✨

I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on the next chapter of Nail Kreations by Jamie Lee, and although I’m not quite ready to share everything just yet… I can finally start putting the feelers out. 🤎

I’m looking to connect with self-employed nail technicians and beauty professionals who may be looking for a beautiful new space to work from, with nail stations and treatment space available to rent.

I want to bring together a lovely team of talented, passionate professionals who take pride in what they do and want to work in a friendly, supportive but professional environment.

Having an existing client base would be ideal, however I also know how hard it can be to build a business from the ground up. There will be ongoing support to help you grow your business, build your clientele and develop your confidence I really want the people working alongside me to thrive in their own businesses too. ✨

You’ll still have the independence of being self-employed and running your own business, while being part of a space where we can support, encourage and grow alongside each other.

There’s still a little more happening behind the scenes before I can officially reveal what’s coming but I’d love to start hearing from anyone who feels this could be the right next step for them.

Swapping BIAB & nail art for wedding celebrations this weekend

After what feels like the busiest few months ever, I’m having a very rare few days off celebrating our lovely friends getting married 🤍👰🏼‍♀️

So for once it’s no nail desk, getting dressed up and probably one too many gins 😂🍸

Back to doing what I love next week, but for now I’m enjoying actually switching off for a couple of days.

Well… I think I’ve found my future employee 😂💅🏼

I took Evelyn along with me to my nail appointment with the wonderful Jiak Hing | Bespoke Painting Nail Artist and safe to say… she was in her absolute element.

Evelyn has always said she wants to be a nail tech just like her mum, so being let loose with ALL the nail polish, stamping and nail art was basically her dream day 🩷

My little mini me in the making 🤍 Give it a few years and she’ll be working alongside me at NK!

A huge thank you to Jiak Hing | Bespoke Painting Nail Artist for being so lovely and accommodating with my girl, letting her be her fabulous creative self AND for my gorgeous nails. She’s only 10 and look how great her work is and that’s only with conventional nail polish 🥰
