One of the biggest highlights from Business Icons was getting the chance to sit down and speak with Touker Suleyman such a kind and helpful person wanting to help everyone and give back.

And honestly, what a businessman.🔥

I knew he was successful, obviously, but hearing how he thinks about business, products, suppliers, finance and growth was properly eye-opening.

There were three big things I took away from this meeting.

Firstly, demonstration of power.💪🏼

Actually getting your product in people’s hands and letting them experience it can be more powerful than just throwing money at ads. That one really stuck with me, especially with Pure Glow because once people actually try the strips, they understand the difference straight away.

No sensitivity, no messy residue, no strips sliding around your teeth. The user experience is the thing not just the results.

So one thing I’ll definitely be putting together soon is a Pure Glow Teeth Whitening demo day. Friends, family, people from Facebook, anyone who wants to come and try the product properly, understand what makes it different and actually see why I’ve been so passionate about it.

Secondly, suppliers are not the be-all and end-all.🙌🏼

Negotiate hard. Ask better questions. Don’t just accept what’s put in front of you. That’s something I’ve already had to learn the hard way building Pure Glow, but hearing it from someone at his level just reinforced it even more.

And third, there are ways to finance and grow a business without just blindly signing personal guarantees and putting everything on the line. 🔐

That’s a big one for me right now because Pure Glow is at the stage where the product is proven, the reviews are there, the brand is growing, but the next stage is about smart growth and getting the right support around it.
