Autumn is a lovely time to give your skin a little extra care.

With less exposure to strong sunshine, the cooler months are ideal for treatments such as microneedling. It can help improve the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, enlarged pores and acne scarring.

During the treatment, we use a nourishing hyaluronic acid serum to deeply hydrate the skin, leaving it feeling fresh, smooth and plump.

Microneedling uses very fine, sterile needles to create tiny channels in the skin. This encourages the skin’s natural renewal process and supports collagen and elastin production. Last week I welcomed a new client to The Beauty Retreat.

We had a consultation through Messenger beforehand, where we talked through her concerns and what would make her feel most comfortable during her treatment. It was her first ever massage and something she had been nervous about booking for quite some time.

My goal at The Beauty Retreat has always been to create a welcoming, safe and judgement free space where clients can relax and feel comfortable, both physically and emotionally.

After her treatment, she sent me this lovely message. She didn't feel comfortable sharing her experience publicly herself and asked to remain anonymous, but was happy for me to share it in the hope that it might reassure someone else who feels nervous or self conscious about booking a treatment.
