We need to talk about what Leighanne did last week😂

After spending five minutes telling one of our clients how talented her injector was, and of course our client being very flattered, she realised that Leighanne was the injector.

We are all very proud of her😂

Any skin lesion I see in clinic gets assessed properly before anything else happens.

We start with the dermoscope which is a specialist scope that allows me to examine the lesion in detail and determine exactly what we are dealing with. Once I am satisfied it is benign and we have agreed the best course of action, we apply a local anaesthetic to ensure the area is completely numb before I go anywhere near it with the plasma pen.

The removal itself is straightforward. As a neurosurgeon, this is a relatively minor procedure for me but that does not mean I treat it as anything less than precise and considered.

This is Nermina, and today we did an IV drip together.

I say together because that is genuinely how I approach this treatment. Before anything goes in, I want to know how you are feeling, what your energy levels are like, what you have been dealing with, what your body actually needs right now. We all know that one patient 😂
