The Beauty Cabin - Sarah Hall

A little business decision that I’d really love your opinion on 👀

Back in February 2020, just before COVID, I opened The Beauty Cabin from home.

My second baby was only four months old and I wanted to create something that gave me more flexibility around the children, while still being able to do the job I loved.

At the time, I offered pretty much everything. Facials, massage, nails, pedicures, lashes, waxing and more.

But over the years, my business has changed quite a lot.

I stopped doing nails and pedicures around 3 or 4 years ago, then stopped doing eyelash extensions around 2 years ago.

My focus gradually became more and more about skin, because that’s the side of the industry I really love. Especially the more advanced side of skincare and being able to look at each client individually and create treatments around what their skin actually needs.

Since then, I’ve also become an educator and a Zemits ambassador, and my business has grown into something very different from the home salon I started in 2020.

Which has got me thinking...

Have I outgrown the name The Beauty Cabin?

I’m no longer a one-stop beauty cabin / shed / hut, or whatever you may want to call it 😂, offering everything under one roof.

My focus is now completely on skin and advanced skin treatments, with a private, exclusive one-to-one experience for every client.

The cabin itself has also been completely refurbished this year to a much higher standard, with private parking and an ensuite bathroom.

It may still look like a cabin from the outside, but inside it’s a completely different space now, and I think that’s where I’m starting to question whether The Beauty Cabin still feels like the right name for the business.

The Beauty Cabin has been my name for so long. It’s my website, email, Google, social media and it’s what so many of my original clients know me as.

So before I make any decisions, I want to hear from you.

Especially if you’ve been with me since the early Beauty Cabin days.
