Green tea and peony open the fragrance with freshness and light, joined by grapefruit and mandarin. At the heart, the rare Moroccan camellia unfolds alongside Jasmine Sambac Absolute, rose petals and Jasmine Coeur de Saison, creating an elegant and luminous floral composition.

In the base, Ambroxan, musk and gardenia leave a soft, sensual trail — carrying the secret of the camellia long after it has bloomed.

MASKÉE embodies this mysterious seductress through an intoxicating contrast of exotic Ylang-Ylang, scarlet Bulgarian Damask rose and majestic iris. Jasmine and heliotrope add sensuality and a delicate marzipan-like nuance, while Bourbon vanilla and tonka bean bring a warm sweetness. Honey, cedarwood and white musk form a soft and seductive foundation.

THE HISTORY OF CIRO

The story of CIRO begins with Jacob S. Wiedhopf, born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1889. Driven by a passion for fragrance, creativity, and an uncompromising pursuit of perfection, he founded his own company in New York in 1921.

In 1923, his vision became reality. Wiedhopf created his first fragrances in France and launched them under the name CIRO. Among these pioneering creations were PTAH, CHEVALIER DE LA NUIT, LE CHYPRE DU NIL, and MASKÉE — fragrances that became some of the world's earliest niche perfumes. Their extraordinary compositions, spectacular bottles designed by artists such as Julien Viard and produced by Baccarat, together with innovative marketing campaigns, quickly made CIRO a celebrated name in international perfumery.

In 1936, CIRO expanded to Europe and established a prestigious presence at Place Vendôme in Paris, officially becoming Parfums CIRO. The house continued to shape the world of fragrance, with its creations becoming part of the glamour and culture of the era.

After decades of success, CIRO released its final fragrance of the original era, Panorama, in 1961.

Then, in 2018, a legend was reborn. The historic CIRO fragrances became the inspiration for new interpretations, preserving the names of creations that were already almost a century old while bringing their spirit into the modern world.
