Sanding is probably my least favorite part of the whole process. 😅 I know it has to be done, but the noise, the dust, switching between different tools and cleaning everything afterwards make me postpone it whenever I can. 🫠
And with delicate pieces, I really wish I could use both hands to hold and control the piece properly while sanding. 🙌 Otherwise, it can turn into a whole cycle of sanding, accidentally damaging something, fixing it with resin and sanding again. 😵💫

Petri is still one of my favorite effects to create
I really enjoy the process, especially because you never know exactly how all those little shapes and patterns will develop.
For this piece, I used kamenskaya inksin warm earthy tones. I especially love all the tiny details they created and how well the colors work with the little white flowers and gold details🌿

I really enjoy working with open bezels, especially when there are lots of tiny spaces to fill. 🐨
For this little koala, I went with white, beige, milky brown and gold, and added three tiny seashells as well. I really like how these soft colors look together with the gold. ✨

Ocean art is still something I’m learning, but I really enjoy making these pieces 🌊
And every time I work on one, I miss the sea a little more. People who live close to the sea are so lucky. 💙
I’m also adding a little video because apparently even a simple background edit can make Instagram label the content as AI, even when the artwork itself hasn’t been changed. 🙄

If summer means sea, sand and sunshine, then I absolutely love it. ☀️🌊
I could honestly repeat the swim, dry off, and jump back in loop all day and never get tired of it.
Today is officially the last day of my summer holiday, so it feels like the perfect time to share one of my favorite minimal seaside pieces.
I’m not quite ready to say goodbye to summer yet… I already miss the sea. 🌊
