Hidden among the bustling streets of Guangzhou’s old city stands the breathtaking Sacred Heart Cathedral — also known as the “Stone House.”
Built in the 19th century, this Gothic Revival cathedral is one of the few Gothic cathedrals in the world built entirely of granite. 🏛️

Set during the 2003 Iraq War, it follows a debt-ridden Chinese chef who travels to Iraq to open a restaurant—only to find himself caught in the chaos of war.
As bombs fall and the city descends into violence, his restaurant becomes an unlikely refuge for orphans.
Inspired by real Chinese restaurants that operated in wartime Iraq, the film uses food as a powerful metaphor for hope, dignity, survival and the universal desire for peace.
War is brutal. But sometimes, a hot meal can still feel like a little piece of home. 🍜🕊️

I was left speechless and heartbroken when I saw this photo today. 🐘Taken on October 23, 2025, in Sango Wildlife Conservancy, Savé Valley Conservancy, Zimbabwe, this image captures professional hunters shooting elephant family that had been placed on a culling list. The photograph later won an award in the Africa category of the 69th World Press Photo Contest in 2026.
I love African elephants. During my years in Kenya, I was lucky enough to see many elephants in the wild, including adorable babies staying close to their families.
I still cannot understand how, in this day and age, some people—many of them wealthy Europeans—continue to travel to Africa to kill these magnificent animals for pleasure.
These gentle giants deserve to live, not become trophies.
