We know Fair Trade can be a powerful tool, but we opt to stay away from it. While Fair Trade guarantees a minimum price, it also requires farmers to obtain a certification, which is simply unaffordable for most. Additionally, as bad beans are drawn into the fair-trade market - quality is absolutely not a guarantee!

For these reasons and many more, we decided that our approach is to pay based on quality rather than on the mere market / fair trade prices. Our prices are mutually agreed upon between our producers and us - ensuring a win-win situation for both!🙌🏻🍀
