Seeing the final result was honestly one of the best feelings ever. So much time and effort went into this transformation, and I’m beyond happy with how beautifully it turned out.

What’s one thing that changed your life?
For me, it wasn’t a book — it was my job title. ❤️
Going from being just a hairdresser to becoming a small business owner changed everything for me.
It came with more responsibilities, more learning, and definitely some challenging days… but it also gave me something I truly value: peace of mind, independence, and the opportunity to create something of my own.
I’m so incredibly grateful for every single person who has supported me, booked an appointment, referred a friend, shared my posts, or simply cheered me on. Your support means more to me than you know.
I will always be thankful to each and every one of you for believing in me and supporting my small business.
And now… Akya Hair Salon is almost 4 months old!
August 21st will officially mark 4 months since I opened my little salon. I honestly can’t believe how quickly these months have gone by!

What’s your vision for this room?
As a hairstylist, I don’t just see hair—I see an empty room waiting to be designed.
Every section is a space to create depth, balance, dimension, and harmony through color, placement, and tone. Just like designing a beautiful home, every detail matters.
For this transformation, we took her from a warm brunette to a soft, cool-toned brunette. By neutralizing the unwanted warmth and carefully placing cooler tones, we created a seamless, elegant finish that looks natural and grows out beautifully.
Hair is more than color—it’s art. Every head of hair tells a story, and I love bringing each client’s vision to life, one strand at a time.

For this look, we wanted to create something a little different—soft, dimensional, and unique.
We used Schwarzkopf L-Series:
• L-89 for selected foils to create brighter pops of light.
• L-77for the remaining foils to add beautiful, balanced dimension.
The strategic placement gave us the perfect blend of brightness and depth, creating a seamless, customized result that complements her hair beautifully.
Sometimes, it’s not about doing more—it’s about placing the light in all the right places.

Color Maintenance Done Right
We did her full transformation back in April, and she came back to see me in July.
The best part? Her color still looked beautiful. The only areas that had faded were the blonde pieces, which is completely normal over time. The rest of her color stayed rich, glossy, and seamless, with a soft, natural grow-out.
For this appointment, we simply refreshed her roots and toned the ends—no need to start over from scratch.
