As we settle into the full swing of wedding season, I’ve found myself reflecting on the first Design Lab this spring.
What stays with me isn’t any one arrangement or photograph, but the experience of gathering with a group of florists to spend a day creating, experimenting, sharing ideas, and working alongside one another.
The work that emerged was thoughtful, generous, and entirely shaped by the people in the room. From bouquets and centerpieces to the collaborative installation, each designer brought their own perspective and approach to the process.
These images are a small glimpse into that day.
I’m pleased to share that The Florist Collective: A Design Lab will return to Yakashiro Farm on September 26, 2026.
