Retention is 50% lash tech’s application, products, prep and 50% the client’s maintenance responsibility to upkeep them. As a lash artist it’s my responsibility to apply lashes correctly to each lash and isolate. As well as use the right products and make sure my clients are comfortable. As a client it’s your responsibility to upkeep your lashes after the fact by: not rubbing your eyes, not sleeping on your sides, not using oil based products around or near your lashes, avoiding hot steam/heat 24hrs after your fresh lash set and keeping them clean.
