Before Maskwiomin was a skincare brand, there was a story being remembered.

More than 25 years ago, Maskwiomin co-founder, Mi'kmaw Knowledge Holder and ethnobotanist Tuma Young began piecing together stories of a traditional birch bark preparation.

That knowledge became part of the foundation from which Maskwiomin eventually grew.

Our products may be made today, but their story reaches much further back.
