I was sitting here thinking, “I should probably post something…” 🤔

I’ve been a little MIA on social media lately. Minimal posting. Minimal reels. Definitely not following any kind of carefully curated content strategy.

And then I started thinking about myself as a business owner and all the things that probably make me a “bad” business owner. 😂

📱 I’m terrible at replying to messages in a timely manner.
Sometimes I see your message, think “I’ll answer that when I have a minute,” and then suddenly it’s three days later and I’m wondering how time works.

📆 I’m not always consistent with posting.
I’ll have 12 ideas, post five things in one week, disappear for a bit, and then come back like nothing happened. 🤷‍♀️

🧠 I have WAY too many ideas.
Massage. Reiki. Sound healing. Tarot. Astrology. Sound baths. Collaborations. Paddle adventures. New equipment. New services. New events… so many ideas so little motivation. 😴

At this point I’m not even sure I have a business. I have a creative laboratory. (Which is honestly so fun! 🤩)

🫠 I overthink things. A LOT.

🎶 I will happily spend hours learning something new, playing with my tarot cards or planning a creative event (that may or may not happen 😅) when there is probably an email sitting somewhere that I should have answered.

🫠 And sometimes I’m just winging it.

Which brings me to this picture. 😂

This is me after receiving a massage, hair completely wild, looking nothing like the polished, perfectly put-together Instagram business owner you might expect to see.

And honestly? I love it.

Because this is real life.

I’m not always polished.
I don’t always have the perfect content strategy.
I don’t always answer my messages right away.

I’m learning as I go. I’m building something that feels like me. And I’m trying to leave a little room for creativity, imperfection and being a human while I do it.

So maybe I’m not the perfect business owner.

But I think I’m okay with being a messy, authentic one. 💛✨
