Dr. Chris Janzen is a chiropractor and a 2026 graduate of D’Youville University, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to chiropractic school, Dr. Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Elmira College, with a focus in Biology and Biochemistry. His educational background, combined with a lifelong passion for sport, movement, and an active lifestyle, has shaped his approach to patient care.

A lifelong hockey goaltender, Dr. Chris has spent more than 26 years competing at a high level. His junior hockey career began in Welland playing Jr. B for 3 years (GOJHL), followed by Jr. A hockey in Trenton (OJHL), winning fan favourite, and 2nd team all OJHL allstar. He also won the all Ontario championships and played in the national RBC tournament. He continued his career at the collegiate level, playing NCAA Division I hockey at Clarkson University winning the ECAC division in 2017 and being nationally ranked. He continued his NCAA journey playing Division III hockey at Elmira College, winning the UCHC division in 2021 and earning goaltender of the year. He finished at Elmira College as the all time schools save percentage leader. Lastly, he played professional hockey in Indiana in the SPHL before retiring to go back to school to become a chiropractor.

Today, Dr. Chris continues to stay active through hockey, basketball, tennis, pickleball, and badminton. His own experience as an athlete has shaped his belief that movement is an essential part of maintaining a healthy, active body. Chiropractic care has been an important part of his own ability to stay active, perform at his best, and continue participating in the activities he enjoys.

Dr. Chris takes a patient-centered, evidence-informed approach to care, with the goal of helping each individual reduce pain, restore movement and function, and return to the activities they love. Whether your goal is getting back on the playing field, staying active with your family, managing everyday aches and pains, or simply moving and feeling your best, Dr. Chris works with you to develop a plan that fits your goals and lifestyle.

His goal is simple: to help you move better, feel better, and keep doing what you love.
