He's gotta make sure downstairs is safe

This time last year was probably one of the worst times of my life. I was constantly getting stys from stress, I broke out in full body hives (from stress) everyday was like getting out of bed with my pockets full of rocks.

And if you know me you're probably think what the heck you did my nails, you taught you did this that and the next...

And that's the point you never know what someone's going through behind closed doors or what they're struggling with. Many people with mental health issues struggle to ask for help. September is su***de prevention month so take a minute to text a friend that you're there for them even if you don't think they need it.

And if you're reading this with dread it gets better it's crazy how much can change in a year. Take some time for yourself, change your work, where you live , change something even if it's moving from your bed to cry outside.

Life gets better and there's always someone who wants you here.

I have the ABSOLUTE pleasure of designing 10 sets of Runway nails for LAKUACHIMOTO for their Montréal show, and I've been shell shocked all day

Working in fashion has been my dream since I was a kid, yes that's me wearing 5 inch heels to my grade 11 classes because I was a fashion icon.

Living in Red Deer there's not a huge community for it so the dream got shelfed as most do, I took a huge leap of faith going to Toronto for Fashion Art Toronto a couple months ago and now I get to work with one of the designers who I saw there.

As always thank you SO MUCH to everyone who supports me. Especially my boyfriend he's really the reason I have so much freedom to chase my dreams and goals.

Unfortunately for my in person clients I'll be away next weekend because I'll be on the runway. 🖤
