EEEEEEEK The count down is on

Oh my goodness… these kids. hahaha They were SO funny and I’m pretty sure we laughed our way through this entire session!

The sun was getting ready to tuck itself away, the PJs were on, and we just got to hang out for the evening. There was playing, giggling, a little bit of chaos (because… kids haha), and lots of soaking up the most beautiful sunset.

And honestly, THIS is why I love what I do.

Not every session needs perfectly posed smiles and everyone looking at the camera. Sometimes the best memories are barefoot, a little wild, full of giggles, and wrapped up in your favourite PJs while the sun goes down.

These are the little moments to remember.

How lucky am I that I get to spend time with and work with this beautiful lady and sometimes I also get to hang out with her crew.

Your baby is only this little once.

The tiny fingers.
The sleepy stretches.
The little scrunchy faces.
The newborn cuddles that make you wonder how someone so tiny can possibly take up so much space in your heart.

And as a photographer, one of my favourite things is getting to freeze these little pieces of your story before they change.

Because they will change.

Dearest September, it feels like only yesterday you stopped by to say hello but here we are ready to say goodbye and I’m just not ready. I love our time together and am so sad to see you go ❤ but thank you for this beautiful evening and the time we got to spend enjoying these moments with amazing friends.
