A teacher, a retired teacher and a retired nurse walk into a jewelry business...

Sounds like the beginning of a joke, doesn't it? 😂 But it's actually a little snapshot of three of the women on my team.

One is a teacher who loves her career but also has a real passion for small business. She's incredibly creative too. Give her a phone and she captures photos and videos that make the rest of us wonder how the heck she did that! 📱 She isn't looking to replace her career. She wants both things to have a place in her life.

Another is a retired teacher who still tutors and has spent years in leadership, including as president of a prominent women's organization. Community is really important to her. She wants to have fun, spend time with women she enjoys and earn something that's just for her.👯‍♀️

And then there's a retired nurse who is very much the matriarch of her busy family. She's there every day for her adult children and grandchildren. But she wanted something for herself too. She loves beautiful things, enjoys being part of a community and still has that entrepreneurial spirit. 🩷

Three completely different women with three completely different lives.

None of them needed this business to give them an identity. They already had one.

And maybe that's the point.

Today’s look … au naturel! 🪷I started using in August 2025. This photo was taken this morning. I’ve noticed a smoother overall look to my face. My forehead lines have softened and a consistent redness has all but disappeared.

Not bad for 50 years old. 🤭However I think I need an eyebrow wax! 🤣
