I’ve been absent from this page for the majority of the last three years. I’ve never been one for New Year’s resolutions but this year I’m going to try it in 2026. I’m going to try my best to find a balance between the work that pays my bills, family, self care and the work that lets me have a creative outlet.

I’ve been asked where I’ve went for the past few years and here’s the gist. The past three years have been busy. I went back to school, graduate from my classes and receive eight welding tickets, and was then asked if I wanted to join a millwright apprenticeship. I declined, 10 months of school was strenuous enough while trying to be a mom of three. My plate was full. I also spent a lot of time and $ preparing for court to finally get a divorce and custody settled after 10 years of baloney.

In the end I didn’t go into welding or Millwright. I was hired as a commercial vinal, residential wallpaper installer as well as a fair amount of minor house repairs and painting. I am enjoying where I am at. I’m also sure it makes a huge difference that I love the person I work with.

After the busyness of the past three years, this year seems like a good year to create balance. I am feeling comfortable in my new career path. Finally got closure with my divorce. Successfully went back to school and completing my goals, as well as, one child moving out and about to graduate. I am so proud of him even though I have a hard time believing that I am a parent of an adult.

Overall, I am incredibly optimistic about finding balance. Muddy Waters was the one thing I put on the back burner over and over again during this time. I’m excited about new things to come as I create time for my creativity.

Keep an eye out for new products and vender sales. Wish me luck in keeping balance.
