Nclex 🔥Correct Answer: C. Doffing Sequence (PPE Removal):
Remove PPE in this order: Gloves → Gown → Goggles/Face Shield → Mask — from most contaminated to least.
Always end with hand hygiene to prevent infection spread. Performs hand hygiene, dons gown, face shield, then gloves
Why? This is the correct PPE donning sequence for contact precautions (e.g., C. diff).
✋ Hand hygiene is always first! Gloves always go on last — over the gown cuffs.
🧼 For C. diff, alcohol hand rub is NOT effective. Use soap and water.
