Humans are horrible. They're the monsters.

💗DIO needs a foster or forever home💗

He was initially posted to an ACAAC animal welfare group by a concerned band member. He then showed up at another band member's door, who then contacted me.

Dio is currently with me until a foster with Eddy’s Nomads Dog Rescue is found.

He's had a very rough start. Regardless of this, he is super cuddly and playful. He is very vocal and sounds like an Eagle! He loves cat cartoons too. ☺️🥰

Unfortunately, something attacked him when he was on his own. His leg is healing. It looks like a partial degloving. His jaw may have been injured and he's missing some baby teeth. BUT he loves to eat soft food. Kibble is more of a challenge.

He is deflead and no ticks. He uses the litter well.

He is now out throughout the night in the bedroom with me. He sleeps for most of the night. He loves my bed and his fluffy bed that will go with him. PS he loves using his bed to make biscuits. He sometimes plays or explores but not for a long time. He sometimes gets hungry because he's a growing kitten.

He is very affectionate and secure of himself. He'll do well with another cat companion for sure... he's very social. A cat friendly dog too with gentle introductions.

This little guy is about 8 weeks old... I'm amazed at how resilient he is. That he survived for however long on his own.

If you're interested in fostering him or to adopt, please contact Eddy’s Nomads Dog Rescue directly.

AND PLEASE REMEMBER TO SHARE THIS LITTLE DARLING. 🙏🙏🙏

🚨 WE NEED FOSTERS! 🚨

Local dogs are being surrendered at an alarming rate, and we need our community’s help.

These dogs don’t need perfection. They need a safe home, a soft place to land, and someone willing to give them a chance. ❤️🐾

Fostering allows you to make a huge difference in a dog’s life without taking on the financial responsibility. We provide:

🏥 Local veterinary care
🐕 Access to our behavioural team
❤️ A whole team supporting you every step of the way

Whether you can foster short-term, help in an emergency, or open your home until a dog finds their forever family — we need you.

Every foster home we have means another local dog we may be able to say YES to.

Excellent. 👏👏👏 It should be everywhere in Ontario.

One social media post. One question that wouldn't let go. That's how a London resident helped bring a new bylaw to her city.

After seeing our No Hot Pets campaign, Elinor wondered what her city was actually doing to protect animals left in hot cars. The answer led her to city hall, and this summer, London has a new bylaw with a $300 fine for leaving an animal in distress in a vehicle.

Read how one person's question turned into real change: https://ontariospca.ca/blog/how-the-no-hot-pets-campaign-inspired-real-change/

Take the No Hot Pets pledge at https://bit.ly/nothotpets-26 and help keep animals safe this summer.
