19 Steps Skin & Body Studio, located in North Langley, is looking for a warm, attentive, detail-oriented individual to join our team part-time as a Head Spa Technician.
🌿 No previous head-spa experience is required! Full training in our Japanese-inspired head-spa techniques will be provided.
What we’re looking for:
• Experience with scalp massage, head massage, or esthetics is an asset, but not required
• Warm, attentive, confident, and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a quiet, peaceful environment
• Professional, well-groomed appearance
• High standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation
• Reliable, punctual, responsible, and committed to exceptional service
• Able to communicate thoughtfully about pressure, sensitivities, comfort, and client preferences
• Someone who takes pride in creating a calming, welcoming, personalized experience for every guest
We believe the right attitude, personality, and willingness to learn are just as important as experience. If you’re passionate about making people feel relaxed, cared for, and comfortable, this could be a great fit! ✨
What you’ll do:
🌸 Provide relaxing Japanese-inspired head-spa treatments
🌸 Perform scalp and head massage techniques following our training and protocols
🌸 Create a peaceful and professional environment for every guest
🌸 Listen to client preferences and adjust pressure and techniques accordingly
🌸 Maintain excellent hygiene, sanitation, and treatment-room standards
🌸 Prepare treatment areas and ensure every guest has an exceptional experience
🌸 Contribute to a welcoming, calm, and positive team environment
Compensation & Schedule
💰 Compensation is negotiable: $35+ hourly or percentage-based income, no benefits
📅 Part-time hours are based on client bookings and may vary week to week
🗓️ Starting with Fridays in mid-September, with the opportunity to progress to Monday–Thursday evenings and weekends
✨ Flexible scheduling within these parameters
🎓 On-site training is provided at minimum wage
