We get what we ask for! I was really trying to focus on Fun, Connection, Courage (no hesitation in our runs, Ace can be a looker!) and Smoothness. And we got EXACTLY that! Thank you for an amazing event!Jessie McEachern | 𝕃𝕒𝕜𝕖𝕤𝕚𝕕𝕖 𝔸𝕔𝕣𝕖𝕤 🛢️ 𝚁𝙰𝙿𝙸𝙳 𝚂𝚝𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚊𝚛𝚍 𝙱𝚊𝚛𝚛𝚎𝚕 𝚁𝚊𝚌𝚎 Morgan L Photography
Left VS right. Yes - horses usually are lefties or righties…. But it should be so subtle that you need to look for the differences. A well balanced horse should feel almost identical both sides. Next time you catch your horse take a moment and see what you can find! Taking comparison photos of right side vs left is also super helpful. Sometimes what is missed by the naked eye jumps out at you on a photo. Hope this helps! Like and follow for more.

Ace has been lovin his front shoes that Brad handmade: 12 1/4 inches of 3/4 by 3/8 concave. Pretty sweet!
The more I watch the more I see! What’s something that caught your eye?

Some impressive comparisons helping out this horse feel much better with Bradley Nelson!
Our district mini finals is this weekend, and I’m really looking forward to having a ton of fun together! Bodywork before competing is like a ritual to me, just as important as grounding and getting rid of unnecessary emotions that aren’t serving our partnership.
What are your pre comp rituals?
Bringing back a horse after injury is a mind game! The endless questions: is she ready? Can she handle this? Am I pushing her hard enough? Am I expecting too much? Tell me I’m not alone on this one!!
But… what I’ve learned so far is that intuition is powerful, and the more I listen, the louder it gets, the clearer the message and things start to fall into place better. That feeling of cohesiveness comes to the surface and puts my mind at ease.
Stepping into “trusting myself” cause I’m willing to listen is a beautiful, but sometimes rocky journey (like them all 🤪)
