Now that I am in my 32nd year in the industry,I'm told I'm seasoned.I have to laugh with this and just say "spicey"
My years in this creative industry have brought me some great high lights and absolutely no regrets!! My passion is still as strong as when I started out.I've learned to stay grounded and remember where I came from,since there can be a lot of "big heads" in this Fashionable industry. I have been blessed with artistic talents to which gave me an edge & a mentor "Kevyn Aucoin",who's words and writings kept me believing in myself. I miss him dearly, and know that Heaven is a more beautiful place with him there. Too make a bio & resume short here are a few high-lights of my career...
I now have 14 industry awards for my talents..I am truly blessed. Avante garde,runway,fashion,editorial and fantasy makeup artistry is my "thing" so to speak.I've travelled allover North America working on fashion editorial ,runway,bridal fashion showcases and shows.My creative works have been in such publications as: Elle,Elle Canada,Fashion,Allure,Toronto Life,Toronto Sun,Toronto Star,Chatelaine,salon,Glamour,The Knot,Wedding Bells,Brides,Canadian Brides , many private advertising fashion campaignes for several fashion chains.As a freelancer I have also worked at the TIFF and many fashion/runway shows.I have had the pleasure of meeting some very interesting & well respected people throughout my years...It has been a whirl wind of a ride.. I also ran an esthetics/makeup artistry studio/salon for many years,in Newmarket and much of my clients from there have actually followed me to where I am now,I love them for that.I am the owner and operator of Dreamscapes Makeup Art and have been in business since the beginning of my career. One of my other favorite's is "instructing/teaching" either in the class room or as a guest artist for businesses. I am happy to say,I still keep in touch with several past students,it is wonderful following thier careers.. As for Bride's,wow I cannot tell you the number of wedding parties and bride's I have had the honour and pleasure of creating the "perfect look" for, 32 years..well I can say it has been many many...I have aslo work par time at a wonderful salon in Aurora, Ont. @salonchic 905-751-1200.I am very excited to be a part of the this team our salon is cozy, bright and very cheerful. 5 Years Ago Today, My Heart and Life Shattered Into A Million Broken Pieces. In All Honesty, I am Still Broken On The Inside, My Life Still Shattered With A Deep Sense Of Despair, Still Frozen In The Painful Ache, Hopelessness and The Truth Of Forever ..Without You
My heart
In all its brokenness
Will always look for you
Chasing down
A familiar scent
Following the trail
Of a favorite memory,
Relentless in its pursuit.
Every morning,
Feeling the ache
Of that now familiar wound
Of navigating a life, a story
Whose chapters were too few.
But, what a legacy you’ve left
In the chapters you were here,
And what a story that you’ve left
A love that perseveres.
My heart
In all its hopefulness
Will always look for you
Cherishing these
Sometimes painful memories,
Holding them tightly
To feel you with me too.
Your absence brings
A deep and lingering ache
But your love
Persists here too,

4 Years today My Girl You left Us
an immeasurable tragedy:
I will love you
for the rest of my life
and
you will not be here
for any of it.
I miss you terribly ♥️
You Don’t Just Lose Your Child Once —💔
You lose them over and over,
sometimes many times a day.
When the loss, momentarily forgotten,
creeps up,
and attacks you from behind.
Fresh waves of grief as the realisation hits home,
they are gone.
Again.
You don’t just lose your child once,
you lose them every time you open your eyes to a new dawn,
and as you awaken,
so does your memory,
so does the jolting bolt of lightning that rips into your heart,
they are gone.
Again.
Losing your child is a journey,
not a one-off.
There is no end to the loss,
there is only a learned skill on how to stay afloat,
when it washes over.
Be kind to those who are sailing this stormy sea,
they have a journey ahead of them,
and a daily shock to the system each time they realise,
they are gone,
Again.
You don’t just lose a child once,
you lose them every day,
for a lifetime.

My Dearest Danika ♥️ Today is your 25th Birthday…
I wish I had some time with you to walk among the stars, to hold your hand and see your face and ask you how you are. To be able to wish you a happy birthday my girl, hold on to you tight and say how much I miss and love you and then there’d be that moment when I wouldn’t want to let you go. But I know that I would have too as I’d give you a kiss and then I’d wish the Angels allowed visitors so I could come back and visit you again ♥️
