As much as I wanted to get the whole chonk out of a jar and give it the life it deserves, that unfortunately wasnāt in the cards today.

Picked up a new fallopia multiflora - mine has resorted to putting out all green or all pink leaves š¤, Hoya Michelle x crassipetiolata clone 2, and anthurium wendlingeri fresh import

Can this be considered cloning a dog?? Home tissue culture labs have its drawbacks, especially when it comes to the lack of a sterile environmentā¦but this is kind of the cherry on top š«©

Alocasia Sinuata āQuilted Dreamsā mint - one of my most unique variegated plants.
Under bright light this plant pops out light green, almost white leaves. Under lower light, the leaves are their usual dark green with specks of mint scattered throughout.
She sure tests my patience though, this is probably the slowest growing alocasia in my collection š«©
picked some flowers (noxious weeds but we wonāt talk about that) and ended up with a bit of a surprise hanging out on the petalsā¦.š thrips are the bane of any plant enthusiasts existence

The hardest part about selling plants - thinking about old plants youāve sold and wondering how well theyāve grown š„²
I said goodbye to this stunning Alocasia Scalprum last year and have thought about it a few times (half wondering how itās doing, half regretting selling it) thereās a few that kept a choke hold on me but this oneās right at the top of the list. Out of all the Scalprum aurea Iāve tissue cultured, this one grew out to be by far the most balanced

What better excuse to appreciate Hoya flowers than during the record-breaking June rain in Edmonton āļø
Sadly, our basement lost the battle against the floodwaters. Praying it doesnāt get worse throughout this next week long torrential downpour š„² hope everyone is staying dry!!
