Stable Fx K-9
Level 1 Caninology Bodyworker
Beginning June 1, Stable Fx K-9 will be offering Red Light Therapy to promote wellness and vitality for our four legged family members!!
Red light therapy (RLT) for dogs is non-invasive and drug-free…it uses specific light wavelengths to boost cellular energy (ATP). This accelerates healing and reduces inflammation, effectively managing chronic pain like arthritis and hip dysplasia, and speeding up recovery from soft tissue injuries, surgical incisions, and skin conditions.
Key benefits of RLT include pain relief, improved mobility, faster healing, skin condition management, reduced inflammation, and decreased medication dependence. Common uses include post-surgical rehabilitation, managing stiffness in senior dogs, skin allergies, and tendinitis and ligament injuries.
RLT works by penetrating the skin and tissues, stimulating cellular energy production, and promoting healing. Near-infrared (810–850 nm) light penetrates tissue to stimulate mitochondria in cells, boosting energy production and reducing inflammatory markers.
RLT is safe, non-invasive, and painless for dogs. While many devices are available for at-home use, it’s best to consult a veterinarian to develop a proper treatment plan, especially for specific injuries.

Benefits of Bodywork 🐎 💪 🤚
There’s no denying that great feeling of relaxation and overall well being, both physical and mental, after a session with your favourite massage therapist…. our dogs can experience all the same benefits!!
Besides the obvious relaxation and lowered stress levels that come with regular massage, there’s many physical benefits of regular massage. They include increased joint mobilization and range of motion, increased stride length, increased stamina, increased muscle tone, increased flexibility, increased energy and circulation, increased immune function, increased lymphatic drainage, decreased risk of injury, decreased pain and muscle tension, decreased inflammation, and decreased age related mobility issues. While the list is endless, any of these positive changes add up and contribute to a happier and healthier dog!!
