Healed Microblading•

One of the biggest questions I get is, “Will my brows stay that dark?” — no! 😊

Microblading will always appear darker, bolder and more defined immediately after the initial appointment. Once they heal, they will always soften. The colour settles into the skin, and the overall appearance becomes lighter and more natural.

This is completely normal and part of the healing process — healed brows should always look softer than they did when they were freshly done. 💜

This client’s photo shows her healed results at 6–8 weeks, before her touch-up. You can see how beautifully the strokes have softened while still maintaining definition and shape.

The 6–8 week touch-up allows us to see how everything has healed and perfect any areas that may need a little extra attention, while refreshing the colour and definition.

These brows were faded and sparse, so we added soft, natural-looking strokes to bring back some shape, fullness and definition while still keeping them looking like her own natural brows.

Faded brows from previous work (𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙢𝙮 𝙬𝙤𝙧𝙠) were ready for a much-needed refresh. Using crisp, delicate strokes to enhance her natural brows while keeping the result as soft and natural-looking as possible.

The brows may appear a little darker in photos than they do in person. Immediately after the procedure, brows can also look slightly darker and a little red — this is completely normal. As they heal, the colour will darken and then soften. the brows will change from day to day as the skin heals. Completely normal.

✨ A few important things to remember about permanent makeup:

Permanent makeup is a two-step process — not a one-and-done service.

The first appointment lays the foundation. The 6–8 week touch-up allows us to see how your individual skin has healed, assess pigment retention, make any necessary adjustments, and perfect the final result.

Every person heals differently. Skin type, lifestyle, immune response, aftercare, and individual healing all play a role in how pigment settles.

A touch-up does not mean the initial procedure was done incorrectly. It is a normal and important part of the process because healed results simply cannot be fully predicted on day one.

Healing isn’t always linear, and results will vary from person to person. That touch-up appointment is there to help us refine, balance, and achieve the best possible healed brows for you. 🤍
