A lil touch up magic 🤍
The 1st photo is where we started 4 years ago, she was one of my very 1st clients when I first started with permanent makeup.
The 2nd photo is where we are today 😍 the top is her healed brows after 2 years. Bottom is where we warmed up the cool tones, added target color & a bit of a reshape.

As you can see, brows lose their color & shape due to a number of different factors. 90% of clients will notice that their color will "cool" off & brow shapes will also shrink over time, this is absolutely normal and why annual touch ups are highly recommended to keep your color and shape fresh!

After 10 years I have officially left the bank. I am excited to have the opportunity to bring my focus back to my beautiful babies and my businesses.

This gem had very sparse and light brow hair. She used to get them tinted but she grew tired of the upkeep.

For a more natural, less dramatic effect than what is achieved with the look of full eyeliner, eyelash enhancement can be done. The color is implanted at the base of the lash line only. This procedure simply serves to define the eye lash line and make the lash base look fuller and more dense. This is great for those who don’t usually wear eyeliner but want the eyes to stand out more.

I became obsessed with permanent makeup in 2018 when I got my eyebrows done and realized how massive of a confidence boost it was for myself, I wanted to help others feel the same.
In November 2020 I decided I was going to take the plunge, I researched over 10 academy's in Calgary and surrounding areas before finally messaging to inquire. I was nervous, afraid of failure, this was going to be a massive investment and I had no idea if it would be worth it, but how could I be successful if I didn't try? Jen () responded right away to answer the 100's of questions that I had, she made me feel at ease and confident in my decision. Over the next few months during the covid lockdowns I had taken 2 seperate courses with Innovative to learn different techniques, I had ample practicing time and the best mentorship with Jen and Ciara prior to taking on my first models.
In January and March 2021 I became fully certified. Over the next few months I had opened my own studio, left my 7 year career in banking and focused solely on discovering myself in this new environment still not knowing if/how I would make it in the industry. I was able to have a stress-free pregnancy, focus solely on myself and growing my own business. I was able to take 6 months off to care for my newborn son and to homeschool my 9 year old daughter.
I can confidently say that this was the best decision i have ever made for myself. I feel absolutely blessed and grateful for every single person who has trusted me and continued to show their support to me and my small business, as well as my mentors who are still there to answer my 100's of questions a year and a half later. Failure is no longer a thought in my mind, although I acknowledge that I still have a long way to go, I've realized that I've already won by being able to do something that I love and am passionate about every day, I've won because I am now able to make my own hours and spend unlimited amounts of time with my children which has been my ultimate goal since giving birth to my daughter 9 years ago.
If you've EVERA considered a career in PMU, this is your sign to DO IT! But do it with an academy that cares and prides themselves on the success of their students. Discovering Innovative Beauty Academy was a LIFE CHANGER for me, I am forever grateful 🙏 ❤
