1:01:02 for our first ever Hyrox🇮🇹
Which means… technically, I guess we failed.
(The goal was sub 60)
When you come so close to hitting a goal, It’s easy to look back and obsess over where you could’ve made up time.
Big goals require big risk and that’s the whole point of stretch goals. You’re not supposed to easily achieve something that stretches your capacity. Big goals require a new version of you and sometimes, you come up short.
It takes courage to go after something big knowing there’s a chance you won’t achieve it.
Sure, it would’ve been nice to hit sub-60. But how can you ever be upset when you know you gave it everything you had?
Your all is all you can ever do…And we DID that. There was nothing left in the tank and that’s something to be proud of.
We trusted ourselves and each other to know that if there was a moment to push harder, we would have. Therefore, there was no time to make up. And if the outcome could’ve been different, it would’ve been.
We put everything into our training. Stayed disciplined, even while travelling. Showed up when it would’ve been MUCH easier not to.
We didn’t hit sub-60.. But now we know exactly what we need to work on to do so.
Fine tune. Get back to work.
And next time?
You best believe we’re getting it🫡
