স্কিন ব্যারিয়ার কী, এর কাজ এবং এটি কী কী দিয়ে গঠিত? ✨

​অনেকেই ত্বকের নানা সমস্যায় ভোগেন, কিন্তু আসল সমাধান লুকিয়ে থাকে ত্বকের ব্যারিয়ারে! তাই ড্যামেজ ও রিপেয়ার নিয়ে জানার আগে, চলুন আগে বুঝি এটি আসলে কী।

​🔹 স্কিন ব্যারিয়ার কী?

স্কিন ব্যারিয়ার মূলত আমাদের ত্বকের একদম বাইরের স্তর (Epidermis)-এর Stratum Corneum অংশ। সহজ কথায়, এটি আমাদের ত্বকের অদৃশ্য এক সুরক্ষাকবচ। (যেটি আপনারা প্রথম ছবিতে দেখতে পাচ্ছেন)

​🔹 এর মূল কাজ কী?

​প্রোটেকশন দেওয়া: বাইরে থেকে ক্ষতিকর ব্যাকটেরিয়া, ধুলোবালি, অ্যালার্জেন এবং দূষণকে ত্বকের মধ্যে প্রবেশ করা কঠিন করে তোলে।

​হাইড্রেটেড রাখা: ত্বকের ভেতরে থাকা পানি যেন অযথা বাষ্পীভবন (Transepidermal Water Loss বা TEWL) হয়ে বের হয়ে না যায়, তা নিশ্চিত করতে সাহায্য করে।

​💡 কেন জানবেন এটি কী দিয়ে গঠিত?

স্কিন ব্যারিয়ার কীভাবে রিপেয়ার করবেন তা জানার আগে এর গঠন বোঝা জরুরি। এটি জানলে আপনি নিজেই বুঝতে পারবেন আপনার ত্বকের জন্য ঠিক কোন ইনগ্রিডিয়েন্ট বা প্রোডাক্ট বেছে নেওয়া উচিত! অনেকেই এই পার্টটি স্কিপ করে যান যার ফলে স্কিন ব্যারিয়ার রিপেয়ার হতে প্রয়োজনের চেয়েও বেশি সময় লেগে যেতে পারে ।

​স্কিন ব্যারিয়ারের (বিশেষ করে Stratum Corneum স্তরের) মূল ৪টি উপাদান:

​১️⃣ কোষ (Corneocytes): এগুলো হলো মৃত কিন্তু শক্ত কেরাটিন-সমৃদ্ধ কোষ, যা ইটের মতো পর পর সাজানো থাকে।

২️⃣ সেরামাইড (Ceramides): এটি ব্যারিয়ারের লিপিড বা চর্বি স্তরের প্রায় ৫০% জায়গা জুড়ে থাকে। এটি কোষগুলোকে শক্তভাবে জোড়া দিয়ে রাখে এবং পানি ধরে রাখতে মূল ভূমিকা পালন করে।

৩️⃣ কোলেস্টেরল (Cholesterol): এটি লিপিড স্তরের প্রায় ২৫% গঠন করে এবং এটি Ceramides ও Free Fatty Acids-এর সঙ্গে মিলে ব্যারিয়ারকে স্থিতিশীল ও কার্যকর রাখতে সাহায্য করে।

৪️⃣ ফ্যাটি এসিড (Free Fatty Acids): এটি লিপিডের প্রায় ১০% - ২০% গঠন করে। এটি ত্বকের প্রাকৃতিক পিএইচ (pH) অ্যাসিডিক রাখতে সাহায্য করে, যাতে ক্ষতিকর ব্যাকটেরিয়া বংশবৃদ্ধি করতে না পারে।
