Anyone else watching 1Euro House on channel 9? 🇮🇹

This is a dream of mine! Before we bought our current home, I'd done up a plan to purchase and move to Italy.

It's still on the list of things to do...once we've got our current place puffing along or somehow I come into $$$$ ☘☘☘☘☘☘☘☘

Couldn't make the dates work.... this time.

We are going on a cruise and trying to work in with some of school holidays next June/July.. I had a play around with leaving from Sydney and Cairns, but when adding on return flights to each of those destinations and then also needing accommodation for at least 1 of the nights.

I'm going to wait until the Black Friday Sale and fingers crossed they do Japan again and also for the time we need! They have in previous years, so I know it will all work out in the end!!

Do you keep an eye on sales knowing that one day you will book them?

So Japan lovers, Jetstar have their $0 return flights sale returning today!!

Members from 12pm AEDST and tomorrow for non-members.

I believe flights will be for May-June 2027!!

Country living they said… 🌿😂

I had visions of peaceful mornings, coffee outside, beautiful gardens and enjoying all this extra space.

Reality so far…

💸 Plumber
💸 Electrician
💸 Water filtration
💸 Water deliveries
💸 Gutter cleaning
💸 Fridge & dishwasher
💸 And approximately 937 other things we’ve realised need doing 😂

We absolutely LOVE being here and have so many exciting plans for this place… but wow, moving onto a bigger property is definitely an adventure!

Every time we tick something off the list, I swear another three things appear. 🤣

Anyone else live on acreage? Please tell me eventually you stop finding things to spend money on… 😂

Okay, honestly… we’re pretty disappointed with the CMC Rocks lineup 😩

Don’t get me wrong — Brooks & Dunn are absolute country legends and I can definitely appreciate them in my 40s! 🙌🏼

BUT… for a festival like CMC Rocks, I really feel like they needed at least one big, CURRENT country act in there too. Someone relevant to today’s country music who gets the 45-and-under crowd excited — especially the teens!

We LOVE country music, but country has changed so much and there are so many incredible newer artists right now. I just feel like this lineup is missing that one act that would’ve made us go, “YES! Now we’re excited!” 🤠🎶

Anyone else feeling the same?

We got tickets!!! 🙌

We were planing on putting a tent on a friends Caravan site, but they missed out on that, so I managed to grab a site that has a tent already pitched, with a blow up mattress, sleeping bags, chairs and a lantern!! 🥰

We will still see if we can get a camp site together on Friday. But if not, we are all set to go!!😍

We’re attempting to get CMC Rocks tickets for 2027… and when I say I’ve been wanting to go for a while, I mean I’ve been trying to get there for about 20 YEARS! 😂

Every year it’s been “one day”… but fingers crossed 🤞 2027 is FINALLY the year!

Now we just need to survive the ticket scramble tomorrow 😬😂

CMC Rocks 2027… please let this be our year! 🤠🎸🍻
