For me, personal styling has never just been about clothes. It’s the human behaviour and psychology behind what we wear that makes this work so fascinating. I always say the clothes are the icing on the cake. It’s the person underneath that matters.

That is where I thrive. That 1:1 connection, understanding why we dress the way we do, what we’re communicating through our clothes and helping someone see themselves differently.

I didn’t win last night, and while I’m obviously disappointed, I couldn’t be happier for Anna SVED | Wardrobe Consultant | Personal Stylist Melbourne who is incredibly deserving and brilliant at what she does. ❤️

But being a finalist is still a huge win in my eyes.
The awards are Australia-wide, with so many more incredible Australia’s Leading Styling School students and stylists putting themselves forward. So,to be recognised by some of the most respected professionals, stylists and influencers in our industry is honestly mind-blowing. I’m so incredibly grateful 🙏

So yeah, I’ve got a little more fire in my belly today. 🔥
I won’t stop. I’ll keep learning, growing, refining and never stop trying. We don’t win all the time. I think it’s important to show the losses alongside the wins. The good, the bad and the ugly.
Maybe next year. Maybe the year after.
But I’m not going anywhere. 🤍

✨ Meet Michael a Perth FIFO worker and student who came to Stylish Agency looking for a personal style that worked with his lifestyle.
