To scent or not to scent, that is the question 👀
We’re currently developing Aqua Zoi’s first natural olive oil soaps. One thing we know for certain: there WILL be a completely fragrance free option.
But for the rest of the range, we want your help deciding. Share your thoughts below 👇
Friday feels: physically back in Melbourne. Mentally still floating somewhere in Greece 🇬🇷
No emails. No deadlines. No idea what day it is.
Just warm water, sunshine and my inner mermaid living her best life. 🧜♀️
Take me back💙

🏆 Award Winning. Expert Approved. Loved by our Community.
When we launched Aqua Zoi, we believed something as simple as what you wash your skin with deserved more attention.
This year, that belief was recognised.
Our Luxe Bath Sponges were awarded Silver in the Bathing Self Care category Clean + Conscious Awards with Australia’s leading clean beauty experts praising everything from their softness and luxurious feel to their gentle exfoliation and plastic free alternative to synthetic shower sponges.

To everyone who has supported our growing business, trusted us with your skin, recommended us to friends, or followed along as we travelled back to Greece to meet the families behind every sponge... thank you.
This award belongs to all of us 🧿
Most people have no idea this is a real bathing product.
It’s what your skin has been missing since plastic took over in the shower.
From dry to soft and fully lathered in 20 seconds. This is a real sea sponge. No synthetics or plastic.
Naturally antibacterial, it softens with every use. Can last for years not weeks with care.
If you’ve been washing with plastic and looking for something natural and long lasting, this is your sign to switch. 🧿
Should’ve stopped for breakfast!
Extreme winds across Greece meant the ferries were getting absolutely tossed around, so we decided flying from Kalymnos to Athens was the better option.
6:30am at the tiny Kalymnos airport for an 8am flight. First ones there. Incredible view. No breakfast.
Then we saw the propeller plane. 😂
The flight was completely safe, but the approach into Athens was ROUGH. I genuinely thought the oxygen masks might come down.
Mark? Laughing the whole way.
Apparently we have very different responses to turbulence. 😂✈️
On our way home, 24 hours left in Athens 🇬🇷🧿
Last day in Kalymnos, trying to squeeze in everything. 🇬🇷
Leaving this island is always bittersweet. Everyone here has been so generous with their time and their story. Doesn’t feel like a work trip anymore. Feels like home.
We’ll be back. Lots more from this trip still to come 🧽

Behind the scenes: making soap in Kalymnos 🇬🇷
We’re bringing back the old ways to Australia, and we’re so excited to be adding soap to the sponges , all natural, made with Greek olive oil and Australian botanicals. 🫒
Special thanks to for taking the time to teach us 🙏🏼💙
More on this soon.

Are you washing your skin with plastic?
We’ve become incredibly conscious of what goes into our beauty products.
We read ingredient labels. We question what touches our skin. We think about reducing plastic in almost every part of our lives.
Yet one part of our daily routine has quietly escaped the conversation.
The humble shower puff.
Many shower puffs and bath sponges are made from plastic mesh, used against our skin every day and replaced within months.
Right now we’re in Kalymnos, Greece, where sponge diving has been a way of life for centuries. Standing alongside the diving families and hand-selecting every sponge in our next shipment has been a reminder that, long before synthetic alternatives, there was the original.
The sea sponge.
It softens in warm water, creates a beautiful lather, lasts 12 months or more with proper care, and at the end of its life, simply returns to the earth.
A small change in your bathroom.
A different way of thinking about what touches your skin every day.
So... what’s your shower tool made from? 🧽
