Here’s what I noticed after wearing it all day 🌙
The Etude House Mascara Fixer definitely does what it claims to do, it helps hold your lash curl, even when you layer a mascara over the top that normally makes my lashes drop!
A couple of things I noticed:
🤎 Removal: Don’t expect it to just wash off because it’s a “fixer”. Like waterproof or smudge-proof mascaras, you’ll still need a proper mascara remover that’s oil based to melt the product away.
🤎 The little fibres: The fixer contains tiny fibres. This one didn’t personally bother or irritate my eyes, but if you’re sensitive around the eye area, it’s something I’d be mindful of.
🤎 Would I buy it? Personally, I’d still reach for my holy grail Curl & Fix.
BUT I can actually see myself using the fixer for a no-makeup makeup day when I just want my natural lashes curled and lifted or underneath self-adhesive or magnetic lashes to help keep the natural lashes lifted.
Not a bad product at all!
Just not enough to knock my holy grail off its throne 👑

A little lash reality check 🕶️
I know DIY lash lifts can look so easy online, a little kit, a few steps, and suddenly you’ve got salon lashes from your bathroom mirror.
But there’s a reason lash lifts are a professional treatment ⤵️
Your natural lashes need to be assessed first, and things like lash thickness, previous treatments, condition and processing time all matter.
Get any of those wrong and instead of lifted + fluffy, you can end up with lashes that are dry, brittle, frizzy and overprocessed
And unfortunately, you can’t just undo chemical damage. Your lashes need time to grow out and recover.
So if you’re tempted by that $40 DIY kit… girl, put it down. DIY something else 🤡
