Hi, I’m Cherie Ashleigh. I’m the woman behind Nectar by Nature. And when I say behind it, I mean behind it. I formulate it, create it, make it, pack it, and hand it to you at a market.

NBN isn’t white-labelled or formulated in a lab somewhere. Every blend started with me, a pile of plants, and a reason I wanted it to exist.

This business is built around a pretty simple belief:

what you put on your body fu***ng matters.

I care about plants. I care about what they can actually do. I care about ingredients being there for a reason, not because they sound nice on a label.

So NBN is medicinal. Organic. No synthetic fragrances. No fillers. Ingredients sourced through Australian businesses 100% of the time.

But none of those things are really brand values I came up with for Nectar by Nature. They’re mine.

This is how I live. It’s what I care about, what I choose for my own home and family, and what I believe belongs on our bodies.

So, of course, this is what I'm doing.

One of my absolute favourite things is getting to meet you in person at markets. There is nothing quite like watching someone pick up a bottle, have a smell, and just light up.

Spring is coming and I will be set up at some beautiful spots over the next couple of months.

I do not talk about this at every market. But it is always there.

Frankincense has been used in ceremony, meditation, and ritual for thousands of years — across cultures, traditions, and continents. Not because people were superstitious. Because they noticed something.

Sometimes you need a remedy on a random Wednesday, not three weeks from now when I happen to be at a market 😂

Something I think about a lot — what it means to make your own medicine.

Every product in my range has passed through my hands hundreds of times before it reaches yours. I test them on myself, in real moments. When I'm sick, when my body aches, when my skin is protesting, when I just need to be held by something gentle.

The Whisper Serum started quietly. Just me, sitting with some of the most sacred oils I'd ever worked with. Frankincense, Myrrh, Blue Tansy, Copaiba. Slow-absorbing, deeply restorative, resinous and earthy and soft. I didn't set out to make something premium. I just followed what I knew to be true about what skin sometimes needs: not stimulation, not activity, but deep, quiet repair.

I still remember the first time I felt what it actually did. How it felt. Like a whisper on my skin.
