Congratulations team Paddington Skin on a great turn-out for the Bridge to Brisbane 🏃🏽♀️🥇😃 Never before has a Brekky wrap tasted so good! 😋🤣
The Photo-bio modulation (PBM) setting on our K-laser can help with slow to heal wounds and ulcers, especially those below the knee. If you have a slow to heal wound, or need to have a biopsy or excision below the knee, come and talk to us about some PBM laser sessions to help your wound heal faster! 😃

Meet the Team: Dr Tim Lynch. Dr Tim is an experienced and highly qualified skin cancer doctor. He has a Master in Skin Cancer Medicine through the University of Queensland - a testament to his deep commitment to quality patient care and knowledge.
In his spare time Dr Tim enjoys travelling, hiking and spending time with his family. Within the practice we nickname him Tim the Toolman. With brothers who are tradies, Dr Tim is very adept at small handyman projects and puts these skills to good use at the Practice. 🔨😃
How we use your family history to help us with your skin check and the important information we’d like to know! 👍🏼
A full skin check is recommended every 12 months for most adults living in Queensland, but do you know what to look out for on your skin between checks?
A handy acronym to help you remember is SCAN your skin. Dr Kylie explains here in more detail what to look for:
S - soreness of a spot or a spot that’s not healing or keeps bleeding
C - changing. Any spot on your skin that is changing in size, shape, colour or texture is worthwhile us having a look.
A - abnormal. Any spot that just doesn’t look right or stands out among the surrounding skin and other spots. We often call this the ‘ugly duckling’ sign
N - new. A spot, particularly a new mole would definitely be something we’d want to check, particularly if it is changing or growing quickly.
If you notice any of these, don’t wait for your next scheduled skin check! Book a spot check’ with us so we can give you our expert opinion and work out a good plan of action 😃
