My 5 week working in Darwin looked like this…

Ok this was a busy one. Trying to fit in a lot of work, catching up with friends and family before having to start planning and packing for our trip home.

To think that it’s all over already is making me sad but also super grateful that I get to do this for work and can do it all over again next year.

Thank you to all the beautiful people I met, new friends and especially to my family for making this trip possible 🤎

I’m on the road back to Adelaide with mixed emotions lol. Sad the season has come to an end but feeling super grateful and excited for next year now.

Week four in Darwin. 🤎

This week was a little quieter on the makeup front. I had a beautiful bridal trial, one wedding and a handful of admin days.

What most people see is the makeup. What they don’t see is everything else that goes into running a business. Answering enquiries, sending quotes and invoices, replying to emails, creating content, planning posts and somehow trying to stay on top of the never-ending admin.

The best part? I get to choose where that work happens.

This week looked like bike rides with Dad, gym sessions, coffees, working outside whenever I could, family time and making the most of Darwin’s dry season while ticking things off my to-do list.

A quieter week doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Sometimes it’s exactly what I need before another busy one.

My third week working in Darwin looked a little like this…

This trip feels like it’s flying by and I think that’s because I’ve been kept really busy this trip.

Feeling super grateful I can build a life and work in a different location!
