Style Beyond Age
Dressing for myself since 1952
Why would I do Ellacor at 74? Because looking good makes me feel good. Full stop.
I’m not trying to look 40. I’m interested in looking like the best version of the woman I am right now.
A little science: Ellacor is an FDA-cleared, non-surgical Micro-Coring® treatment for moderate to severe wrinkles of the mid and lower face. It removes microscopic cores of skin—without laser, radiofrequency or heat—allowing the skin to heal and remodel naturally. The technology also now carries an indication for fractional skin resurfacing.
I’ve treated both my face and arms. My face recovered quickly—by day three I felt comfortable going out. My arms took a little longer. My advice? Do the arms in the fall. Long sleeves are your friend. 😉 Everyone’s recovery is different, of course.
All the gory details are in my Highlights—swelling, healing and everything in between.
At 74, taking an interest in how I look hasn’t expired. Aging and wanting a little maintenance can happily coexist.
Thank you Revival Dermatology and Lisa Guidry Pruett for taking such good care of me. 🤍
Would you try Ellacor?
Same jeans. Different attitude.
One basic look, eight different moods. Because sometimes all it takes is the right accessories—and a fabulous bag—to change everything.
Which one are you?

East Coast. West Coast. Same Western attitude. 🤠
One a little more city, one a little more evening — because Western style doesn’t have to mean dressing like you’re headed to the ranch.
It’s the details that change everything. A belt, a boot, a little fringe — and suddenly a classic look has a completely different attitude.
Which one are you — East Coast or West Coast?
Sometimes the best evenings are the ones you almost talked yourself out of. 🤍
A last-minute invitation, a reason to get dressed, a little Chantecaille Lion Collection on the eyes—and out the door I went.
So glad I said yes and joined L'AGENCE to celebrate a new chapter in Dallas and the opening of their beautiful new boutique at NorthPark.
Fashion, friends, familiar faces, new ones—and a reminder I seem to need every now and then:
Get dressed. Go. Be part of it.
There is so much to be grateful for.
Thank you L'AGENCE and Modern Luxury Dallas for including me, and Chantecaille for the beautiful Lion Collection that came along for the evening.
Fashion isn’t just about clothes. It’s about how we show up.
I talk a lot about posture because it affects so much more than how we look. It changes the way we stand, move, breathe and carry ourselves through the day.
That’s why I’ve been wearing Forme.
Forme® isn’t a traditional posture brace, and it isn’t simply compression clothing. Its patented Intelligent Construct™ uses strategically placed, multidirectional tension within the garment to gently cue the muscles involved in alignment. Rather than rigidly holding you in position, it works with your body as you move, encouraging the shoulders, spine and postural muscles toward better alignment.
The idea is repeated neuromuscular feedback: as your body receives those subtle cues over time, Forme®’s Muscle Memory Technology™ helps reinforce the sensation of better alignment so standing taller becomes more natural rather than something you have to constantly remind yourself to do. There are no wires, sensors or bulky straps involved.
What I especially like is that I can wear it while I’m doing ordinary things — walking, working, traveling or exercising. Good posture shouldn’t require standing at attention all day. It should become part of the way we naturally move.
At this stage of life, I’m not interested in forcing my body into anything. I’m interested in giving it the right cues and continuing to build strength, alignment and awareness.
Have you checked your posture today?

Some cities tell you their history in museums. Santa Fe whispers it after dark.
We joined the Santa Fe Ghost Tour with US Ghost Adventures, where our wonderful guide, Anna Sanchez, led our group through the Plaza and some of the city’s oldest streets. For an hour, history and legend blended together in a way that made you see Santa Fe through completely different eyes.
From the centuries-old Palace of the Governors to the stories surrounding La Fonda, San Miguel Chapel, and other historic landmarks, each stop revealed another layer of the city’s fascinating past—filled with pioneers, soldiers, tragedy, resilience, and the ghostly tales that have become part of Santa Fe’s rich folklore.

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, the real magic is discovering the incredible history hidden behind these beautiful adobe walls. Every doorway, courtyard, and quiet corner seems to have a story waiting to be told.
If you’re visiting Santa Fe, don’t just admire it during the day. Experience it after sunset—you may leave with a few chills, a deeper appreciation for the city’s remarkable past… and perhaps a story of your own.
Thank you to Anna Sanchez and the team
such an entertaining evening. 👻✨

Some days, everything seems to go wrong at once. Over the years I’ve learned that I can’t control everything that happens, but I can control how I respond.
These are a few rules I come back to when I need to keep my head on straight.
Trust God
Bad is not a word
Work your body
Control your thoughts
Eat well
Stay away from alcohol
Simple? Maybe. Easy? Not always. But they’ve served me well.
What’s one rule you live by?
After a whirlwind four-day trip to LA, today we choose lighter. ❤️
We choose to see the sun shining, the flowers blooming and the farmers market overflowing. We can’t always control what lands in our lap—but we can control where we let our mind go.
And apparently ours needed to go straight to the produce aisle. 😂🍅🥕🌻
Happy Labor Day! ☀️
I like good food. I really do. But add a rooftop, a little atmosphere, people having fun… and honestly? You could serve me almost anything.
