Duwa Mein Yaad Rakna

A UAE resident who lost Dh100,000 while transporting business cash in Dubai has recovered the full amount after an honest resident alerted Dubai Police and handed over the money.

The man, identified as Raj, had withdrawn Dh260,000 from a bank in Karama when one bundle of cash reportedly fell from an envelope during transit. After realising the money was missing, he contacted police and retraced his route across the busy area.

The missing cash was later found by Muhammad Ali, owner of a small typing centre in Dubai, who immediately informed Dubai Police and returned the entire amount despite facing his own financial struggles.

Raj praised the honesty and compassion shown by both residents and police officers, calling Dubai “the safest city in the world” and saying the experience reflected the trust and values that define life in the UAE.
